Buffet at Rasa Sayang Hotel

Recently, i just went to Rasa Sayang Hotel for Buffet;
SPICE MARKET

I have been very excited since the day my friends invite me to this place for lunch!

Many people or i should say ''foodlovers'' or ''People that are craving for seafood'' had recommended me to this Restaurant.
Yes, indeed, i have long heard of this place and it really really really lures me to it!!!

Finally i have a chance to go there.

Of course the price is will be not as cheap as others restaurant as the restaurant is situated in a six star hotel!!!
Okay, the price would be RM 96 per pax, excluding the tax and service charge. If you want to make some reservation, you should call the number 04-8888888.

Since this restaurant served BUFFET, you could try varieties of foods available there.
There are many seafood served here which include oysters (either fried or fresh), Fish (salmon)

Fresh prawns ....of course there will be plenty of them available for you. Once its empty, they will take more fresh prawn.

Fresh Lobsters..... (about a palm size)
They cut them into half so that it will be easier so people to eat.












Some dimsum available as well... ''har gao'' very delicious!!!
Beside seafood, you could also enjoy some asian delight, like satay ,...... they have chicken and lamb satay. I would strongly recommend lamb satay!!!

Some western foods could be found there too!!!...... steak (it is quite raw, but you could ask for them to be cook for you)


















if you want to taste some japanese
sushi there, there are some might make u craving!!!
one i love the most is d baby octopus.

After something to fill up our stomach, it is time for dessert!!!


You could also try some ais-kacang there!!!....... Just pick your flavour and here you go...

Ice cream are available there as well!!!......
4 favours for you to choose and add your favourite topping!!!
Other than that, there are also chocolate fountain there also. Kiwi, strawberry and mashmallow.......
you could eat as much as you like!!! (actually, it is quite sweet for the chocolate, so you mind just dip some will do!!!)
In the nutshell, i am quite satisfied with the food over there...

1. Environment - yes!
2. Food - Good!
3. Service - Good!

:> mission accomplished!!!

Deep-fried Chicks - Raja Uda, Penang

Have you ever eaten or taste any chicks (deep-fried) before?
Yes, chicks!!!Recently, I spotted a restaurant in Raja Uda there, where they made this deep-fried chicks as their famous cuisine. Even people from Penang island would drive so far just to try this dish!!!

They are so crispy and delicious!
since they are so small, i think 1 of the chick could only serve i person. The meat available will be also limited.. :>

As this is a seafood restaurant, you could also try out other dishes available.
You will find it very easy to take an order here, since there are

• only one type of clamps (''lala'')
• only one type of fish (you could select either which part of the fish you like; head...)
  
• only one type of how they cooked them for you!!!

And there are NO RICE sold here!!! the only they got is the fried noodles.
That's why you could get your meal within 10min (or even less) without starving for the long wait!!!

The other famous dish here would be the crispy prawn crackers (not in the picture)...
They are served with the chili sauce. This crackers are large, like a small pizza, but they are cut into six pieces. They are crunchy, and of course smell good (but quite oily).

The shop open daily from 1pm to 5pm only.
You guys might give urself a try!!!

''Dim sum'' in Kampung baru, BM, penang.

For ''Dim sum'' lover, i think this will be a great place for u!!!
This is a place where u can select typical varieties of 'dim sum' or light breakfast that u like...
u can either have local (normal), Taiwanese style or even a taste of Hong Kong foods!!!
( since there are so much choices, the price will be not as cheat as other restaurants around BM area). My favorite duo... ''Har gao''(蝦餃) (pic above)... the prawn r quite big! and ''siu mai''(燒賣) (pic below). Although the siu mai below look a bit dishape, but it taste good..

Below is a bun that wrapped around ''curry chicken''. It costs RM6 only for this!!! U might consider selecting this dish if u are the person eating...when u open this bun, it will look like a flower. Not only nice to see, but taste ''yummy''!!!shark's fin soup (not real, I am sure)

This place is normally crowded in the morning. So be sure the time u decide to go this DimSum palace...

''tang yuan'' or Glutinous rice balls
